Survey Questions
We have explained in the previous video, what are the foods that you should eat for Suhoor. Here are four types of food you should definitely avoid during Suhoor.
-
Foods you need to avoid are those packed with sodium, as they increase your thirst levels. This includes foods such as processed cold meats, chips, salted nuts and fast foods.
-
Anything high in refined sugars, which are manufactured sugar, should also be avoided. Even though they give you the much needed boost you need, not long after this boost in energy quickly drops and causes lethargy and an increased level of appetite. Definitely, something you don’t need while fasting.
-
This goes the same for simple carbohydrates, such as white bread, fruit juice, chocolate bars and other packaged goods. These will make you hungry sooner.
-
Fried foods are also a big no-no, as they wreak havoc on your stomach making you feel lethargic, increases chances of diarrhea, heartburn and of course provide no nutritional benefits.
