  1. Understand what the competition charges
    • Understanding what your competitors charge will show you the appropriate amounts that you can ask for to attract clientele. You may have to start off charging less than your competitors in order to build your reputation.
  2. Use your cost to control how many customers you are serving
    • In time, you will find that your prices are causing you to accumulate more customers than you can handle. At this point, you will see that a price increase is necessary in order to adjust the number of customers that are approaching you for your services.
These tactics will allow you to play with your pricing to build a reputation and to control the number of customers that you are attracting.
